My MA training was in applied linguistics, specialising in systemic functional linguistics. Over a number of years I’ve applied appraisal theory (Martin and White 2005) to the analysis of translation. On this page I will give updates on several projects I’m involved with covering a wide range of approaches to discourse analysis.
